About Us
Tova and the first radish in Palau
The story of Fish'n Fins is the story of a young couple.

The story of Navot, a marine architect and mechanical engineer, and Tova, a chef with a passion for fine dining, both very experienced divers who have sailed the oceans for over four and a half years in the 1980s. Fascinated by nature and culture, Navot and Tova fell in love with Palau and its inhabitants and decided to return to these pristine islands after their trip around the world.

Both returned in 1993 on board of their newly built, luxurious liveaboard, the Ocean Hunter 1.

In 1998 Navot & Tova took the existing Fish'n Fins diving center over and expanded the dive shop into the most modern and best managed PADI 5-star IDC and diving center. In order to meet the quality standards of Palau's best diving company, in 2018 Fish'n Fins moved to a new, better location, in a small bay on the Rock Islands and has rebuilt all facilities to offer its guests the best possible conditions and the greatest possible comfort.

Tova and Navot are very active members of the Palauan community. Over the years, they have contributed their expertise and services to numerous projects in Palau, including research expeditions, articles, and films (Skin Diver, National Geographic, Discovery Channel, BBC) and conservation efforts.
In 2000 they founded the Micronesian Shark Foundation, which is collecting research data and raising awareness of shark protection in Micronesia. Every year Fish’n Fins and the Micronesian Shark Foundation host the SHARK WEEK PALAU, a very well attended event.

In 2000, Navot led a crew of technical divers to discover USS Perry, the only US shipwreck in Palau, and continued the Fish 'n Fins tradition as a pioneer in Palauan waters.
